About this research opportunity
In the Advancing Collaborative Conservation Research (ACCR) Lab, students will engage in social science research studying how collaborative partnerships between academics and community groups can advance conservation outcomes. Students will gain tangible, career-ready analytical and communication skills in ethical research conduct, qualitative coding and analysis of textual data, thematic synthesis, data management, scientific collaboration, and science communication. Over the course of the semester, students will collaborate as a team to develop methodologies for coding qualitative data, conduct data analysis, and assist in other ongoing project-based inquiries. Students will also have the opportunity to work with a peer research partner to develop their own research question, code and analyze data, and present the results of their peer research to their lab-mates in an online poster session.
