About this research opportunity

The research project is comprised of the following components: i) analyzing different types of nursery rhymes to understand the cultural significance, linguistic intricacies, and thematic elements; ii) employing a combination of literal translation, adaptation, and creative interpretation to ensure an accurate yet culturally sensitive translation; and iii) sharing the findings through the integration of multimedia elements, such as audio recordings and visual representations, to enhance the immersive experience of the translated nursery rhymes. The mode of delivery is remote. The text selection for this translation project centers around nursery rhymes because the language in this genre is usually simple, but the cultural layers are rich, which creates room for the students to explore.
