About this research opportunity

The purpose of this course is to provide students with an authentic research experience in which each student generates a question, designs an experiment, collects data and interprets the result. Our research will be on the topic of how we create, assimilate and transmit stories. Our minds are built for stories. Humans are unique in their ability to learn from other people’s experience through their stories. It is this unique capability that has enabled science, technology, culture and art. This one unit course is an introduction to individual research on cognition (LIA 294) that can lead to more research opportunities in LIA498.

Eligibility

All ASU Online students majoring in a degree program offered through The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.
