About this research opportunity

Become an Online Bird Buddy at ASU!

Receive a new AI camera-equipped bird feeder (The Bird Buddy) and bird seed supplied by ASU to attract birds to your home to collect photos and videos of the feeder-visiting birds on your smartphone and appreciate their beauty and diversity.

Connect with others worldwide who are working on this same project and learn about global bird diversity.

Meet and receive mentoring from ASU faculty and graduate students who study birds.

Develop a research project (independent or with other project participants) about bird diversity, behavior, biogeography, etc.

Receive course credit (BIO 495, Undergraduate Research) for this experience during spring 2024 (session C preferred).

Return the feeder after the experience and receive a stipend for your participation in this exciting project! 

Eligibility

We would like to recruit enthusiastic ASU Online students majoring in Biological Sciences. Juniors & Seniors preferred. Students have to be an online student to apply.
